We really enjoyed visiting your blog and are happy to donate to the Birdathon. I hope the weather isn’t too bad. I saw a yellow rumped warbler flitting about in the snow this afternoon.
Have you seen the merlin that hangs around south Canmore? I’ve seen it in the trees between Millennium Park and the river on several occasions. I also saw it in the spruce tree by our deck, eating a freshly killed sparrow. Along came a magpie who chased the merlin away and claimed the half eaten sparrow. Bird drama!
