Please sponsor me for the Baillie Birdathon!

Baillie BirdathonI am participating in the Baillie Birdathon, the oldest sponsored bird count in North America, raising money for bird research and conservation. I hope that this Birdathon will bring out many exciting results and I get to see some active nests. Please help me reach my fundraising goal.

If you are willing to support my fundraising, you may either donate a flat amount or you may specify an amount for each new species seen.

As of today, I have $550 (offline donationsĀ  included). My goalĀ WAS $300.

Thank you.

  1. We really enjoyed visiting your blog and are happy to donate to the Birdathon. I hope the weather isn’t too bad. I saw a yellow rumped warbler flitting about in the snow this afternoon.

Have you seen the merlin that hangs around south Canmore? I’ve seen it in the trees between Millennium Park and the river on several occasions. I also saw it in the spruce tree by our deck, eating a freshly killed sparrow. Along came a magpie who chased the merlin away and claimed the half eaten sparrow. Bird drama!

    Happy birding!

  2. Very happy to donate and help the cause.

May I say that I think this is a fantastic outlet for you. Great little blog and so happy to see your genuine interest in birds. Please keep us up to date on the progress of the Birdathon.

  3. I’m looking forward to helping you search for birds – for such a good cause. Hope it goes really well next week, Ethan.
