Half a dozen or so Pine Grosbeaks have come to our feeders, devouring sunflower seeds nineteeen to the dozen and drinking all the water I can put out! They do, however, make way for the flicker, chickadees, etc.
We have had them in our yard all month, so beautiful. Our four year old granddaughter loved them. Nothing more exiting for a small child than a bright red bird!
Sure! We have lots! If you can tell a couple to fly over here, I’ll tell a couple redpolls to fly over there. If that doesn’t work I guess we’ll have to send them in the mail. 😉
That’s a lot of Pine Grosbeaks! I haven’t seen any except on the Cornell Lab’s Ontario Feederwatch Cam 🙂
