Feathers on Friday – Grosbeak Invasion Half a dozen or so Pine Grosbeaks have come to our feeders, devouring sunflower seeds nineteeen to the dozen and drinking all the water I can put out! They do, however, make way for the flicker, chickadees, etc. Here are BYBW‘s and PB‘s posts.

That’s a lot of Pine Grosbeaks! I haven’t seen any except on the Cornell Lab’s Ontario Feederwatch Cam 🙂
Lucky!! Send some over here please! I haven’t seen any around yet.
We have had them in our yard all month, so beautiful. Our four year old granddaughter loved them. Nothing more exiting for a small child than a bright red bird!
I bet, they’re really pretty birds. 🙂
If I can figure out a way, would you trade some redpolls?
Sure! We have lots! If you can tell a couple to fly over here, I’ll tell a couple redpolls to fly over there. If that doesn’t work I guess we’ll have to send them in the mail. 😉
