Last week I posted a small group of Snow Buntings, correctly guessed by Gavin. The entire field was shrouded with fog, making it hard to see them, but we guessed that there were around 500 individuals. Can anybody guess this bird?

The tail of a small raptor? Maybe a Merlin.
